Annie McKay

Annie McKay is a sommelier, food anthropologist, and travel designer based in Washington state. She holds degrees in cultural anthropology, art and received her Master's in Gastronomy from Università di Scienze Gastronomiche di Pollenzo in Piemonte, Italy. She has worked with

travel and hospitality experts, gourmet chefs, and winemakers in Thailand, Spain, France, Sweden, Italy, New Zealand and around the U.S. Annie is part of the Slow Wine Coalition and curates a 200 bottle selection at a specialty shop in the North Cascades, creates digital and print food and wine content, holds pop-up tasting events, and is the guest chef at a boutique, garden-to-table lodge in New Zealand.
