Laura Winter Falk

Laura Winter Falk, PhD is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and holds a Level 3 award with merit from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. She is the co-owner of Experience! The Finger Lakes, and nationally recognized touring and events company based out of Ithaca, New York (experiencefingerlakes.com). She is an adjunct professor of wine at Tompkins Cortland Community College and is a contributing writer for national publications including FODORS Travel Guide and for Edible Finger Lakes magazine.  A new enhanced and updated 2nd edition of her book: The Culinary History of the Finger Lakes will be published and released through Arcadia Press in early 2025. Laura lives in the Finger Lakes, and is excited to be the slow wine field coordinator for New York State.
